Dermalux LED Therapy
LED Therapy is carving out a niche in non-invasive skin care treatments, celebrated for its simplicity and the wide array of skin benefits it offers. By utilizing varying wavelengths of light, this therapy promotes skin health in a gentle yet effective manner. Whether it’s for acne treatments, wound healing, or anti-aging, LED therapy has proven to be one of the go-to treatments for individuals with various concerns.
What is LED Therapy?
LED Therapy, or Light Emitting Diode Therapy, is a skincare treatment that uses varying wavelengths of light, including blue (415nm), red (633nm) and infrared (830nm) to target different skin issues. Blue (415nm) is the most proven wavelength to destroy the bacteria which causes acne and improve skin clarity whilst being gentle on the skin. Red 633nm supercharges cell energy to accelerate repair and renewal, boost collagen synthesis, increase hydration and enhance circulation to reverse the visible signs of ageing. Near Infrared 830nm targets deeper cells to trigger the wound healing process, calm redness and irritation, reduce pigmentation and promote healthy skin.

What is Included?
An LED therapy session involves lying under a light canopy device that emits light at specific wavelengths to penetrate the skin. This painless procedure requires no downtime, making it an increasingly popular choice for those seeking effective skincare solutions without the inconvenience of recovery time. Our LED therapy at Kallos is performed by special LED devices which deliver all 3 wavelengths simultaneously at the optimum power for superior and lasting results.
What are the benefits of LED Therapy?
LED Therapy is lauded for its diverse advantages, offering a non-invasive route to improved skin health:
- Enhances Collagen Production: Red light therapy is known for boosting collagen production, leading to firmer and more youthful-looking skin.
- Reduces Inflammation: LED therapy can help reduce inflammation and redness, making it beneficial for conditions like rosacea and acne.
- Acne Management: Blue light targets acne-causing bacteria, contributing to clearer skin.
- Improves Healing: By promoting circulation, LED therapy can accelerate the healing process, making it a great adjunct to more invasive procedures.
